Weedmaster Centre Drive Weedcutting Bucket

Manufactured in house by us.
This latest centre drive weedcuttting bucket has been developed over the past years and has proven its reliability with low running costs.
New design features have given rise to improved layout, strength and durability.
  1. Fittings:
  2. Our Weedcutting Buckets can be fitted to all Excavators and some Tractor Mounted Flail Arms.

  3. Various Sizes:
  4. Working widths are available from l.5m - 5.0m wide. Our buckets can also be made 'Lightweight' - same working width and durability just not as heavy in mass as our standard buckets.

  5. Cutting System:
  6. The reciprocating cutting system uses Double drop forged steel fingers giving maximum strength, secured to the cutter bar by setscrews.

  7. Knife Sections:
  8. Sections have been double hardened. Knife sections are available with serrated edges or plain edges (suited to straw like material for giving a clean cut).

  9. Knife Removal:
  10. Removing or Changing a single knife section for maintenance can be done easily in the field within moments. If needed, the whole knife assembly can swapped out for another within minutes.

  11. Pressure Arms:
  12. Fully adjustable, these can be set to suit various cutting conditions.

  13. Detachable Adaptor Head:
  14. The unique new detachable suspension head arrangement greatly strengthens the bucket in this critical area with no increase in weight. The highly durable (2 off) suspension rubbers allows oscillation giving the operator time to correct the movement of the bucket if an obstruction is encountered.

  15. Drive Unit:
  16. The totally encased, highly reliable oil bath drive unit is set furthermost to the rear of the bucket cage causing no obstruction to weed entering the bucket.

  17. Drive Arm:
  18. A solid steel one piece component, having an eccentric drive pin to facilitate easy adjustment in relation to knife drive bush.

  19. Finger Guards:
  20. A guard is fitted to each end of the bucket and gives protection to the knife assembly.

  21. Connections:
  22. All pipe work from the hydraulic motor terminates at a steel pipe block keeping all pipe work secure and extremely neat.

  23. Greedy Bars:
  24. A set of 'Greedy Bars' can be fitted as an optional extra around the top and sides of the WCB to keep more material and debris contained in the bucket for removal.
